Loading ...Black and white photography is an art of it’s own. It’s one thing to just snap a picture in color to try to capture a moment in time. When that picture is taken in black and white though, you are capturing the photo and it’s essence that is possesses. Some of the most beautiful and amazing photographs and without color. There is something just so pure and simple about black and white photos; it’s almost hard to put into words.
When a photographer takes a picture, they want the viewer to see what they saw. The photographer wants them viewer to experience the same feelings and sensations that he or she had while taking the picture. Black and white photos do an amazing job at portraying this. Portraits in black and white are strong and very in your face. There is a simple elegance that is present in them.
Not many people realize the beauty and potential in black and white photography. As times change you start to see less and less of it. Hopefully those few die hard fans of the art, like me, will work to keep it alive so that people will always be able to share the same love for black and white photography.
